Blue Ridge Independent School District is a growing district, approximately 30 miles northeast of Plano and 20 miles from McKinney. We educate over 1,000 students in Pre-K- 12th grade with approximately 150 employees. We consider Blue Ridge ISD to be a "destination" district. Blue Ridge ISD:

• Pays $325 per month toward employee medical insurance

• Provides a $50,000 basic life and accidental death & Disability insurance policy

• Provides on-site daycare at a discounted rate to employees

• Provides both an annual new hire & returning teacher stipend and a fall stipend

• Provides 5 (five) local days of personal leave in addition to 5 (five) days provided by the state

• Attendance Incentive - Pays a $100 for perfect attendance each six weeks

• Provides opportunities for leadership stipends and UIL Academic stipends
