BRHS Principal Announcement

At a Special Board Meeting on Friday morning May 17th, Mrs. Pam Clark was hired as the new Blue Ridge High School Principal.  She will replace Trent Hamilton, who has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer for BRISD.  Mrs. Clark will officially begin her duties on July 1, 2024.  

Pam Clark has been the principal at Clark High School in Plano ISD (a grade 9-10 campus) since 2018.  Her campus has had some of the greatest achievement gains in Plano ISD.  Her campus has had the lowest personnel turnover rate of any campus in Plano ISD.  And her references stated that she is one of the most beloved principals in their district.  Prior to taking over as Clark High School Principal, Mrs. Clark served as:  Associate Principal over Curriculum and Instruction at Plano Senior High School 2012-2018, Assistant Principal over Curriculum at McMillen High School in Plano 2011-2012, and Administrative Intern/Dean of Students/English Teacher/Department Chair/Mentor Teacher at Vines High School in Plano 2006-2011.  She holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Principal Certification from Dallas Baptist University, a Master of Public Administration degree from Troy State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in English and Journalism from Emporia State University.  Mrs. Clark and her husband Craig have two grown kids, son Brent and daughter Megan.   

While serving as a high school principal, Mrs. Clark has helped create an atmosphere where students can achieve big dreams through a comprehensive educational experience.  She works to build teacher expertise so that students are guaranteed the very best instruction on a daily basis.  And she continuously looks for process improvements that will maximize student learning.
