BLUE RIDGE, TX – Blue Ridge ISD is pleased to announce that Mr. Dewayne Tamplen will serve as the Interim Principal of Blue Ridge Middle School for the remainder of the spring semester 2025.
Mr. Tamplen is a retired administrator who brings an extensive amount of experience in school leadership, having previously served as middle school principal in Decatur ISD from 2008-2019. Since then, he has been serving in the role of Interim Principal at various school districts including Bridgeport ISD and Krum ISD. With a strong background in staff development, student success, and campus operations, he is committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
His leadership philosophy centers on building strong relationships with students, staff, and families while ensuring that the school's mission and vision are effectively communicated and upheld.
