Lynette Snyder has been named as the Lone Finalist for the Blue Ridge Middle School Principal position. She has twenty years in education as a teacher, English as a Second Language Coordinator, Special Education Department Head, Lead Interventionist, curriculum writer, Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal. These experiences have prepared her well to be the next leader of BRMS. Mrs. Snyder has worked in Princeton ISD, Lovejoy ISD, Plano ISD, and Richardson ISD. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and her master's degree from Ohio State University. She and her husband live in Princeton, and they have four grown children. Mrs. Snyder says, "God, family, and living out my purpose are the most important things to me. Together we will grow, learn, succeed, and have fun. I promise to do all I can to ensure a safe environment where all are challenged to reach their potential and their goals. I am excited to be able to soon serve the students, staff, and community of Blue Ridge Middle School."
As the Lone Finalist, Mrs. Snyder will be officially recommended for hire at the June 17th BRISD School Board Meeting.
