We will monitor the weather including road conditions and wind temperatures throughout the weekend. Any decision on a delayed start or school closure will be widely communicated to parents via social media, district website, emails, phone calls, texts, mobile app, and local broadcast stations. Safety is our top priority and travel must be safe for our buses, student drivers, staff, and families. Thank you for your support of our safety efforts!

Our BRMS student council have been working hard this semester. They made over 250 Christmas cards to be taken to a local nursing home. Yesterday, they went Christmas shopping to bless 3 children with a Christmas and they enjoyed a lunch together. Thank you Ms. Langwell.

Let's acknowledge the incredible dedication of Ms. Townsend, a true advocate for our English Language Learners (ELLs) at BRMS. Her unwavering commitment to their success, coupled with her celebration of their achievements, showcases her exceptional support. Ms. Townsend's investment in their understanding of the curriculum is truly commendable, making her an inspiring asset to our school.
Mrs. Townsend is also the November teacher of the month. Congratulations Ms. Townsend!

Today BRMS Beta remembered the fallen and honored those who served as they laid wreaths at our BR cemetery on the graves of Veterans.

Wow! The BRMS staff and students exceeded my expectations again. Here are some of the doors the Capturing Kids Hearts families completed. I asked each family to decorate a door for Christmas. Great Teamwork, which is one of the character traits we have been learning about.

Thank you JR. BETA for helping with "TOYS FOR TOTS" this morning.

Great BRMS Fall band concert. The Christmas music was great.

On the 3rd day of Christmas, my PTO team gave to me, some delicious fruit, so come enjoy the loot. Thank you Blue Ridge PTO for the fruit bar you created for our staff.
