In order to accommodate travel for multiple extracurricular activities, including the Area Football Playoff game, Blue Ridge High School and Blue Ridge Middle School will be releasing early on Friday, November 21st. BRMS & BRHS will release at 2:00 pm and BRES will dismiss at their normal time of 3:10 pm. Afternoon bus routes will run for each dismissal time.

The Area Football Playoff game versus Jacksboro will be on Friday, November 21st at 7:00 pm at CH Collins Stadium in Denton.

Tomorrow, Thursday, October 30th, BRISD will be holding our annual districtwide emergency evacuation drill. All students will be evacuating from their campus and/or classrooms to our severe weather shelter at Blue Ridge Elementary. This is only a drill. The drill will commence at around 9:00 am and will last until around 9:30 am. If your child has a doctor's appointment or will need to be picked up during that time, please make arrangements to pick them up prior to 9:00 am, or they may be unavailable until the completion of the drill.

BRISD will be honoring all veterans on Tuesday, November 11th. Join us for breakfast at BRE at 9:00am and for our annual program at BRHS at 10:00am.

Due to the threat of severe weather on Friday night, all BRISD football games will be moving up one day.

7th/8th/JV will be played today, Wednesday, October 22nd in Gunter.

Varsity will be played tomorrow, Thursday, October 23rd in Blue Ridge.

Game times will remain the same.

Trunk or Treat at the BRE will remain on Thursday, October 23rd but will be from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.
