#KnowBeforeYouVote
There will be NO tax rate increase if voters approve the bond election. Learn how this is possible:
The District’s I&S tax rate is currently at $0.50, the maximum allowable I&S tax rate. The monies collected from this portion of the total tax rate can only be used to repay debt service on bonds sold.
Growth in the District’s taxable value, which comes from new development (residential, commercial, etc.) and existing appreciation, allows the District to sell more bonds without raising the I&S tax rate. The District will only sell an amount of bonds annually that the growth in the taxable value allows.
The District’s taxable value has continued to grow with residential and commercial expansion. If this expansion were to slow, the District would have to slow the pace at which the bonds are sold.

Blue Ridge ISD will be closed for Spring Break on March 17th-21st. There will also be no classes on Monday, March 24th due to a staff professional development day. Classes resume on Tuesday, March 25th. We hope you all have a fun and safe Spring Break.

There will be NO tax rate increase if voters approve the 2025 BRISD Bond. However, it is important to know that by law, the ballot will read: "THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE".
