At tonight’s School Board meeting the Blue Ridge Beta Clubs celebrated their record breaking success at the State Beta convention. The BRISD Beta Clubs attended the State Convention the beginning of February in Grapevine, TX. After months of hard work and dedication from Beta members, parents, and sponsors BRISD Beta Clubs brought home 56 awards and had 85 Beta members qualify for Nationals! BRHS teacher Chantel Stewart celebrated the success of the CX Debate teams at the School Board meeting tonight. The teams swept 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the district meet with Hannah Wood, Edgar Orduna, Sara Cable, and McKinley Lentz advancing to the state competition. Congratulations Tigers! Warmer weather is near and that means it is time for spring sports! Softball takes on Celeste tonight at home and then the Lone Oak Tournament later in the week while Tiger Baseball heads to the Whitewright tournament. The BRISD Education Foundation is holding its 3rd annual Steak Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, February 24th at 6:00 in the BRHS Gym. The cost of one ticket is $100 and admits two for the steak dinner and one chance to win the prize money. There will also be a ton of silent auction items to bid on throughout dinner.
Come support our amazing BRISD Education Foundation in its largest fundraiser of the year. Funds raised help to support our amazing teachers and students through teacher grants and student scholarships.

Come be a part of something fantastic at Blue Ridge ISD! The BRISD Ambassador Academy will provide participants a chance to learn more about the district including finance, operations, teaching and learning, how the school board operates, and much more. This is the second session of this academy and it is open to any parent or community member. However, space is limited to the first 25 people who register. At tonight’s School Board meeting, BRMS principal Angel Perez celebrated the success BRMS had at the UIL academic competition this past December. The middle school had 100 students compete and over half of those competing placed in either 1st or 2nd place as an individual or team. Way to go Tigers! #BRISDpride #LearnGrowExcel


BRISD theater director Bryce Hughes recognized members of the BRMS one act play for their success at the UIL competition.
