At tonight’s School Board meeting, BRISD was recognized by The Texas Association of School Boards with a TASB Risk Management Fund Excellence Award. Out of over 100 applications, BRISD was 1 of 7 districts to receive this excellence award for maximizing resources and minimizing incidents within the area of special education. TASB recognized BRISD for seeking out additional training opportunities for our special education department as well as develop calming areas across our campuses. We are excited to share that the Varsity football game against Bells will be played at Tiger Stadium tomorrow night at 7:30. Please be aware that there are still some areas under construction within the stadium. Safety fencing has been installed as an added safety measure. Please stay away from any fenced-in areas. The pep rally tomorrow morning will be held in the BRHS Gym at 9:00 a.m.

Schedule Update: There has been a location and time change for the JV and middle school football. The 7th, 8th, and JV games will be played on Thursday at Anna HS beginning at 5:30. Varsity football will play in Lone Oak on Friday. Come out and cheer on your Tigers!

There will be no school for students from October 6-10. Classes will resume on Wednesday, October 11th. We hope that you all have a safe and fun break.

The pick-up line will come up CR 504, turn left onto Tiger Pride Circle, then straight at the four way stop in front of BRES. Once your student has been picked up, please return to CR 504.
