Trying to feed hungry kids this summer? This is the last week of the BRISD Summer Feeding Program at the BRES Cafeteria. Free breakfast and lunch will be served to children ages 0-18. Breakfast will be from 7:30-9:00 and lunch from 11:00-12:30.

BRISD band director David Terry presented BRHS student Avry Collinsworth to the Board of Trustees at tonight’s meeting for her success this season at the North Texas Colorguard Association solo competition. Avry earned a superior rating at the competition in Fort Worth. Congratulations! #BRISDpride



BRHS softball coach Charles Deckard recognized the 2024 district champion softball team to the board of trustees at tonight’s school board meeting. He highlighted how hard the team worked this season and finished the season 22-5. Congratulations on an amazing season Tigers! #BRISDpride



Track regional qualifying athletes were recognized at tonight’s School Board Meeting by Coach Trentman. He highlighted their success and dedication this season. Coach Trentman also celebrated Cash Goodman who competed and earned 3rd at the state track meet in the 110m hurdles. Congratulations on an amazing season! #BRISDpride



At tonight’s school board meeting, BRHS Ag teacher Heather McGrew celebrated the success the BRHS FFA chapter had this year at livestock shows, career development events, and speaking events. Between county and major shows over $62,000 was paid out to students to further their educational and showing goals. BRHS teams for livestock judging, horse judging, and meat judging were district and area champions and well represented BRISD at the state competition.
